The West Adams Neighborhood Council (WANC) is part of the grassroots system of 99 Los Angeles Neighborhood Councils. Our Board is made up of elected volunteers who serve as public officials. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in West Adams by providing an open forum for public discussion and by advising the City on the needs and concerns of local stakeholders

Because your voice matters! Neighborhood Councils influence how city resources are spent, which projects get prioritized, and how policies affect your neighborhood. Getting involved helps shape the future of our West Adams community, plus its fun to get together with neighbors and friends every month. 

You can attend meetings, join a committee, volunteer at an event, or even run for a board seat! It’s one of the easiest ways to make a difference right where you live.

Anyone who lives, works, owns property, or has a connection to the west adams neighborhood – like a student, parent, or community group member – can participate.
