Yesterday, Mayor Eric Garcetti announced the Emergency Senior Meals Response program for those 60 and older. The Mayor’s meal service launched TODAY in partnership with EveryTable and AccessServices, which will deliver healthy meals citywide directly to the homes of our seniors.

Low-income families may not have enough for them to survive these difficult times. Folks that live in the streets don’t have what they need to keep the virus from spreading. And, some of us may experience stress and anxiety as we maintain space between us. We are here to support and help. Please join if you can offer a hand, smile, or whatever you can. In light of the sweeping impact the COVID-19 pandemic is having on our small business community, the City of Los Angeles has responded swiftly and decisively to support our local, community businesses. The newly established Small Business Emergency Microloan Program now provides financing needed to strengthen small business enterprises in this time of acute need that have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
