🏛 Bylaws Updates (Deadline April 2026)

The committee will begin reviewing and collecting proposed amendments to WANC’s bylaws ahead of the April deadline. Proposed changes include:

• Renaming President & Vice President to Chair & Vice Chair

• Updating quorum requirements from a fixed number (8) to a majority of non-vacant board seats plus one

This is an opportunity to modernize and clarify board governance.

🏙 City Charter Reform Update

Discussion on the ongoing Los Angeles City Charter Reform process, including:

• Updates from City Fabrick

• How Neighborhood Councils can submit Community Impact Statements (CIS)

• Possible CIS recommendations for consideration at the February 23 Board & Stakeholders Meeting

🗣 Public Comment

Stakeholders may provide:

• General public comment (2 minutes per speaker)

• Input on proposed bylaw amendments and charter reform positions
