An Evening Conversation Special Edition: COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall

This month An Evening Conversation will present an informational Town Hall on the COVID-19 Vaccine and the Black Community.

FEATURING PANELISTS:
Dr. Roshonda Clemons, M.D.
is a board certified pediatrician, with twenty years experience practicing medicine. She has a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from Spelman College, followed by a MD from medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. After residency she completed a fellowship in multicultural health. She has appeared on the “The Oprah Winfrey show”, “Its a Miracle”, interviews with Dr. Drew and ABC evening news.
She will present “her” view and hesitation on the vaccine as a physician who must give vaccines routinely to children.
Dr. Katherine Conte, Ph.D.
Has a PhD in Genomics and Evolution. She previously worked in the Biotechnology industry and is currently the Director of STEM Partnerships and Outreach at American University.
This fall she volunteered to be part of the Moderna Vaccine trials and has received the vaccine.
Dr. Matthew Conte, Ph.D.
is a Principal Investigator, Viral Genetics and Emerging Diseases for the Viral Diseases Branch at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. He has a PhD in Biological Sciences.
He works on monitoring virus outbreaks and he plans to receive the vaccine as soon as it is available to him.
Crystal Antoinette Graham
holds a Masters of Science in Library Science.
She is a patient advocate, and will be speaking on the importance of checking sources for validity.
Dr. Curtrina Strozier, M.D.
Obstetrician/Gynecologist at St. Francis OBGYN Physician Partners. A firm believer in active patient involvement.
She received the Covid-19 vaccine and knows the day to day experience and struggles of her patients (moms and babies) in a pandemic society.

This event is free to the public however a donation of $10 to support The Robey Theatre Company programs, is appreciated.
